Six days ago, I went to Fujikyu Highland with my friends from school. The occasion was to say goodbye to one of them who is leaving for Australia. Fujikyu Highland is an amusement park near Mt. Fuji. It has lots of scary roller coasters, kids rides, and haunted places.
Fujikyu Highland is far away from Tokyo (about 2 hour bus ride). On the bus, I was playing cards with my friend. Other people were playing on iPads, or making up parodies of Christmas songs. I think the bus ride was long but fun because I was having fun with my friends.
The rides were really fun. Every ride we went on brought something new and special into the ride. One roller coaster was just really big going up to 79 meters which used to be a world record! The same one had a huge drop that went down most of the 79 meters. Another went super duper fast. Like 0~100 miles in 1.9 seconds!!! It felt like my face was peeling off. Another of them stopped for 5 seconds nearly upside down at 121°!
But my favorite ride was called ええじゃないか ( ee janaika). It was intense because you not only drop, loop and go fast, your seat also spins! So you could fall upside down! At the very beginning, you were upside down with your feet dangling in the air for 5 seconds. The ride was really cool and very scary at the same time.
Another awesome thing we did was called ZBY. It was like an infiltration thing where you had to go into this building and steal this "Black Box". There were also "security cameras" (special lights) that made your special vest flash. If one of your team members vest started flashing, then the whole team is out. This was really intense because we had been waiting in line for 1 hour and it would be really sad if we got out in the first minute. But we cleared the 1st mission and epically failed the 2nd. The reason we failed was because in the first level, we had to get three things to pass, but apparently it would have been better to get five. Oh well. Next time.
Fujikyu Highland was really fun and I can not wait to go again. I really want to win at the ZBY. I am so sad that my friend has to leave and I hope we can stay in touch. I think this was a very good send off because the kid had a lot of fun.
