KFC

This week I will compare KFC in Tokyo to the KFC in Chicago. I have started going more often so I decided to write about it.

Both KFC's have chicken of corse. But the Chicago they offer more variety of chicken that I will explain later. Both places have coleslaw and that is almost exactly the same. And both of the KFC's have biscuits. But the Tokyo one is a bit different. The potato wedges for both restaurants are the same. There is this new thing called "Krushers" Both locations have them but is different flavours.

The Tokyo KFC has chicken but not as many kinds as the Chicago one. The chicken is good here. Unlike the Chicago KFC,  they have fried fish and there is Teriyaki fried fish. I have not tried it and don't really intend to. Tokyo biscuits have something very different then the Chicago ones. A hole!!! The workers recommend you put maple syrup on it but in Chicago there is a different recommendation. I prefer the Tokyo biscuits because the syrup is better. The sides are also different. Chicago again has more variety but Tokyo has some interesting ones.  Like onigiri rice balls. The Krushers flavours in Tokyo are strawberry banana, macha (green tea) and chocolate. One more thing that is not about the food in Tokyo is they have a life size(ish) Colonel Sanders. Fun fact: Around Christmas they advertise for christmas dinner.

The Chicago one has lots more chicken types. They have fried chicken (my personal favourite), grilled chicken and chicken pot pies. They also have (in my opinion) better sides. They have mashed potato, gravy, Mac and cheese (my favourite), kernel corn, corn on the cob and green beans. The biscuits are not as good as the Tokyo ones. The biscuits come with only butter and sometimes honey. The Krushers on the other hand come in more flavours like Kit-Kat and Oreo to name a few. I heard that the KFC's in America are less popular now. Unlike in Tokyo where it is so popular.

Thank you for reading this blog post. I might write others like this (McDonalds maybe). Those of you that have been to one (or both) I would like it if you write what you think about KFC.
